All month Lara
What can I say? Vogue Paris Feb 2009 issue is all about Lara Stone. I'm not a fan of hers and some editorials is just awful (in my opinion) so I decided not to post them. These are a few that I find interesting. Out of all the editorials, I particularly liked Lara by Night by Hedi Slimane. Maybe this is a part of Lara that we have yet to see.

Zara Fall 2008 (Young): Ali Stephens
Sasha Pivovarova took the spotlight after fronting for the Zara Fall 2008 campaign but what most of us overlooked is that another young model, Ali Stephens was also featured in Zara campaign under the Young category. This campaign certainly shines as it's more vibrant and youthful compared to Sasha's mature dark campaign. Not bad for Ali Stephens, really.

The Better Vogue Covers
Anne Hathaway (US Vogue Jan 2009):
I do not like the cover. Her smile is a little broaden than her usual sweet smiles. It's like she was forced to show all of her teeth. But I really like her editorials, she make the clothes work (except for the Prada piece) and looks refreshing. It's so natural as if she's so comfortable in her own skin. She is truly a star-in-the-making.
Blake Lively (US Vogue Feb 2009):
Surprisingly enough, I don't hate her cover. There's the old Hollywood feel in it. That's about the cover. The editorials is average. I don't think the red lipstick and the old style suits her. I'm not a fan of hers and after seeing this, I won't be. The only one I like is the black and white pic, the rest is just average. I'm not saying that it's bad but Blake certainly have a lot more space to grow.

Have you noticed how Sasha likes to pose with her mouth (a little bit) open showing her rabbit teeth. See...??
