Similarities

Look left, look right. Yes, these are both Vogue UK covers with Lily Donaldson and Sasha Pivovarova on the cover respectively. I have just recently notice how similar looking these covers are. They even have the same pose!

The Four Capitals

In the upcoming August issue of Vogue UK, Patrick Demarchelier captures Lily Donaldson, Karlie Kloss, Freja, Sasha Pivovarova and Anna Jagodzinska in shoots after the four capital cities of fashion- London, New York, Milan and Paris. Personally, I like Milan the best simply because it features two of my favorite models- Freja and Sasha. Theme wise, Paris is the better editorial because it's not shot in the studio and is far better than the New York editorial. Sasha is also the cover girl for this issue. I wonder when they will put Karlie or Freja on the cover?

Emma Watson for Burberry FW2009

She's British, she's famous and she's grown up. Emma Watson was chosen to front the Burberry Fall Winter 2009 campaign. She has sure grown up in front of us since she first appeared in Harry Porter as Hermione Granger. Back then, Emma Watson is a cute young star together with Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint. Just how fast time flies, and now we have Emma Watson as the Burberry girl. I like this campaign because I like Emma Watson but at the same time, I think it resembles Burberry very much. Simple, clean , sophisicated, very British. Saying this, I think the best Burberry ad to date is their Spring Summer 2008 ad with Lily Donaldson and Agyness Deyn. I liked that collection the best too simple because they're so vibrant, chic and I've never seen such color used on clothing since I don't even know when!

Vogue US : Pieced Together

Interesting to see the combination of Chanel Iman, Caroline Trentini, Lily Donaldson, Karlie Kloss and Anna Jagodzinska in a studio shoot. Usually there will only be two or three models involved.

June Vogue

Earlier editions of Asian Vogue(s).

Lily Donaldson on Vogue China

Natasha Poly on Vogue Nippon

Not the best cover for both of them. This is just mediocre but I am still glad that they're using them as cover girls. Now, can I have Freja, Coco, Tanya, Raquel or Vlada on the other Vogue covers, please?

Lily Donaldson Vogue Covers

Vogue Australia Dec 2008

Vogue Nippon Oct 2008

It does look the same at first glance. But these 2 are actually different covers of Vogue Nippon Oct 08 issue and Vogue Australia Dec 08 issue. Which issue do you prefer? I have to admit that if it wasn't for the "VOGUE" letter on top of Lily's head , I would choose the Japanese version but saying so, the Australian issue manage to see this weakness and correct it. So, good on you Australian team thus the Australian issue gets my vote!

Miss Dior Cherie ads

Lily Donaldson and Maryna Linchuk

Which one would you prefer? I think both are pretty but Lily Donaldson is more suitable fro a Dior girl.

The Power Duo

By now, we have surely seen lots of Lily Donaldson and Natasha Poly on the runway and the most interesting thing is that both of them are always cast in the same show. It is undeniable that both are top models who strut the runway like they were born to do so. Here is a little recap at some of the show that both of them did together. It is surely not a coincidence, no?
