This girl has gone a long way..

I have high hopes for Jac. She is fresh and the designers loves her too. This is just her first season and she's already walking for the big names- Jonathan Saunders, Proenza Schouler, Marc Jacobs, BCBG Max Azria, Herve Leger, Donna Karan, Richard Chai, Phi and not forgetting Rag and Bone which she kickstarted with. This girl even opens and closes Calvin Klein. However, due to her age, she might not appear in London and Paris but we might catch her at Milan. I think she's going to get even bigger at Milan- with all the powerhouses there. She's walked 13 shows in New York and the list is as below:

Rodarte surprises us with their Spring 2008 collection when they start to experiment with collage and amazes us with their breathtaking evening dresses. It is still very fresh and raw for the next Fall 2008 collection. The colors are more dark- blood red, a lot of white and black but the dresses are again- beautiful. I, especially loves the long train on Karlie. Spring 2009 collection is like a fairy tale come true, every single clothes look like a fairy flying out from Neverland. It has become like a tradition for Rodarte though to make a full collection from similar looking outfits. The dresses again are just so wonderful. Very beautiful. Then came Fall 2009, and again, the outfits looks exactly the same as in previous seasons. Maybe we've been seeing this for like more than a year and sometimes a little change is better than none. Yes, the color changes, it's warmer this season and there's some changes here and there, no chains more leathers. But the clothes looks the same and after every season going "wow" there's no more "surprises" anymore. And the dresses are gone this season too. They are surely lacking something here...

Asian Comeback : Tao Okamoto

Tao has been modeling since 2006 but this season is her biggest break yet. She has walked for Ralph Lauren, Isaac Mizrahi, Vera Wang, Marc Jacobs, United Bamboo, ADAM and Alexander Wang among many others. She even became the muse of Phillip Lim and her bob look was used for all the models for 3.1 Phillip Lim Fall 2009 collection. Just wow!

Jac is back!

Jac is a model from Poland that just kickstarted her career in New York walking for Rag and Bone for Fall 2009. She is no newbie though. Her full name is Monika Jagaciak and has been around since she's 13 years old. She's now 15. She has caused chaos in the international fashion circuit after being banned from Australian Fashion Week for being too young. Much has been said about her. She's appeared on numerous covers in Asian countries though specifically in Singapore and Japan. But this young girl is a determined one proving that all the wait is worth it. Monika is truly a gem and with her arrival means that we'll be seeing more of her, and, this is just her beginning!
